The core of this experience lies in the small group breakout sessions where you'll engage deeply through discussions and exercises, and provide mutual encouragement and accountability, and even have fun.

Feeling Great is a new mobile app inspired by the groundbreaking work of world-renowned Dr. David Burns. The AI-powered chatbot takes the time to learn about what is upsetting to you and helps you challenge thoughts that may be causing you to feel down or worried. The app features a set of interactive courses and exercises to teach you the basics of Dr. David Burns’ proprietary techniques that have proven to have long-lasting impacts on peoples’ joy and outlook on life.

Brandon Vance, MD
Brandon Vance, MD (you can call him Brandon) has been a psychiatrist for over 20 years and has practiced psychotherapy for over 23 years. He has studied TEAM therapy with David Burns since 2011. He is a level 4 TEAM therapist and trainer and actively teaches training groups in TEAM therapy and teaches also at the California Institute for Integral Studies. He lives in Oakland, California in the United States. Outside of work, he is loving being a father and engages in writing and performing music, most recently in a social justice themed group that plays hip hop over latin rhythms. He is part of www.feelinggreattherapycenter.com and co-founder of www.gamefulmind.com which develops playful ways to support mental wellness such as our card game TuneIN TuneUP.
Heather Clague, MD
Heather Clague, MD (you can call her Heather) is a level 5 certified TEAM therapist and trainer with a practice in Oakland, California and works as a psychiatric consultant at Highland General Hospital in Oakland. In her work with patients, she integrates cognitive behavioral therapy with contemporary psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, visualization and compassion practices to relieve suffering and empower patients to realize the best in themselves. She was awarded the Alexander Simon award for excellence in psychotherapy teaching. Outside of work Heather loves to sing and dance and ride her bike. She has come to accept that once you have 3 cats, you are officially a cat lady.
